Description: The U.S. Army, Letterkenny Army Depot, Pennsylvania, has a requirement to establish a Requirements Contract for the following: The contractor shall provide services to overhaul and return or exchange of engines and power train components for M1097A2, M105A2, M1113, M1152, M1165, M998A1, M1097, M998, M1025 and M1026 series military HMMWV'S. The components consist of engines, transmission assemblies, transfers, and differential assemblies. The Government intends to issue a requirements contract for one base year and four additional option years. The estimated quantities are: Base 305, Option years (1) thru (4) 255. A weekly program quantity of approximately (6) assembled power packs and (12) differentials is anticipated. The contractor will be required t o overhaul/exchange and return within (14) days. The components must be inspected, overhauled and tested per the applicable General Motors Corporation, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Standard. Vendors must provide evidence of GMC designation as an O EM authorized rebuild facility or provide objective evidence that meet or exceed the OEM Standards. Detailed information will be included in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be included with the solicitation. The contract will be effective within 30 days of award. Payments will be made with Government Credit Card. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336350. The size standard is 750 employees. Prospective vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. Further information may be obtained at website www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be posted to FEDBIZOPS, on or around 1 November 2007. The solicitation will contain the actual due date for receipt of the quotes.
