Description

Work under this project consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the construction of a parking lot around the Youth Shelter Building. Located at the Fort Sill Apache Tribal Headquarters, North of Apache, Oklahoma, Hwy 281; Caddo County. All construction will be completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. The NAICS Code is 238990, Product Service Code C122. The Davis Bacon and Miller Act do apply. The estimated cost of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Parties interested in submitting a bid may request a bid packet in writing from the Contracting Officer. Mail request to address cited above or by fax, (405) 247-9922. Bid Packets will be available after October 16, 2007. The Bid Opening will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007, 3:00 p.m., in the Branch of Contracts, Southern Plains Regional Office, 1 Mile North of Anadarko, OK. This project is being solicited under the Small Business Demonstration Program. This solicitation is not set-a-side under the Buy Indian Act, but the successful contractor will be required to comply with Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354; which requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
