- Amendment 02: Extend offer due date from 10/03/2007 to 10/15/2007. Another amendment is planned to provide responses to several questions received and any resulting scope changes. Amendment 01: Extend offer due date from 09/19/2007 to 10/03/2007. Note: Any prospective Offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at https://www.fedteds.gov/. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution FedTeDs Homepage https://www.fedteds.gov/. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FedTeDs.gov Internet Homepage. Description of Work: Remove existing air handling unit and provide a 6000 CFM indoor air handling unit in the basement of the Battle Creek H.D.I. Federal Center, building 1A. Period of Performance: Contractor shall commence work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the entire work within 80 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this construction effort is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative timeframe for issuance of Request for Quote (RFQ) GS-05P-07-SM-P-0026 for the above stated requirement is on or around September 4, 2007. A site visit will be conducted. The exact date and time for this site visit will be stated in the RFQ package. Any questions concerning this project should be directed to the Program Analyst Daniel Miller at daniel.miller@gsa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing via email. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under the RFQ. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjuction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of the solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror. An offeror must be determined responsible according to the standards of the FAR Subpart 9 to be eligible for award.
