- Description
- The provider shall be responsible for accomplishing the Statement of Work herein. The support service shall be provided at the National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratory, (NAREL), Montgomery, AL. Provider shall replace defective equipment that will meet the form, fit and functional specification of equipment being replaced. Equipment:Octel 250 voice mail system with 8 voice mail ports. When on site repairs are necessary for routine service, provider shall use its best efforts to respond the next business day following receipt of customer's service request. For service emergencies, provider will respond within 4 hours on a 24 X 7 basis. The following FAR Clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.204-7-Central Contractor Registration; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items Evaluation Criteria: Price Only The following are questions were submitted by prospective bidders and EPA response: EPA response to questions submitted on RFQ-EPA-08-EEE498 1. When our technician identifies equipment that needs to be replaced, will we get an opportunity to recover the cost of the part? EPA Response: No. 2. What is the duration of the contract? Is it one year or multiple years? EPA Response: One year. 3. Is the requested quote for an hourly rate for the technician to do the routine maintenance or per work order? Is there any estimation of the number of work orders per year based on history? Any estimation on number emergency calls? EPA Response: The requested quote is for full maintenance; replacement of any defective parts, 24x7 emergency service within 4 hour response time, and when system call for routine maintenance, i.e. bad floppy drive or system fans, provider shall use its best effort to respond the next business day. Work orders and emergency calls placed as needed. 4. Is this work currently performed by an incumbent? If so, would you please let us know the name of the company and the value of the current contract? EPA Response: Avaya holds the current contract. The current contract price is $3,500.00 5. How soon will the contract be awarded after response date and what is the estimated date to start work under the new contract? EPA Response: The contract will be awarded with five business days after receipt of award. The provider must be available immediately after contract award. 6. What is the number of mailboxes for the Octel Aria 250? EPA Response: The number of mailboxes is 300. 7. What is the number of storage hours? EPA Response: The number of storage hours is seven. 8. What is the serial number of the Octel 250? EPA Response: The serial number is 12315. 9. Is the support being request 24x7? EPA Response: Yes. 10. Is the actual address 540 versus 530 which is what we reference in our database? EPA Response: Yes. 11. Is eight (8) the number of voice mail ports? EPA Response: Yes.
