Description

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) will issue a sole source award under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1); FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. OPM anticipates issuing a sole source fixed price award to Brocade Communications Systems Inc. as a logical follow-on contract for ongoing work for data mirroring services that includes the reconfiguration of communication circuits to provide greater data transmission capacity. The Period of Performance for this award will be one base year and four option years. The purpose of this procurement is to provide continued data mirroring capability for OPM. These services include the acquisition, maintenance and monitoring of high speed data circuits and the maintenance of the channel extension equipment used to connect OPM?s storage devices to other storage devices at the remote recovery site. This is not a solicitation nor should it be considered a Request for Proposals (RFP).
