- USCG MLC Pacific proposes to contract for Drydock and Repair of USCGC ACUSHNET, a 213 ft medium endurance cutter, home moorage of Ketchikan, AK. Work will start on 19 March and complete by 13 May 2008, at a certified contractor'r facility located in Alaska, Straits of Juan de Fuca or Puget Sound, WA. Some of the work items that will be accomplished during the availability include; fuel tanks clean and inspect, propulsion shaft coating inspect and test, propellers clean and inspect, main diesel engine exhaust stack uptakes commercial clean and inspect, sea strainers overhaul, sea valves overhaul, anchor windlass inspect and test, hull plating underwater body preserve and temporary services drydock provide.
