- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Canaan, Waymart, Pennsylvania, intends to issue solicitation RFQ21504001-8, for the requirement of the weekly delivery of fresh shell eggs for the period November 1, 2007 - October 31, 2008. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business and terms are FOB Destination. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary, Institution Warehouse, 3057 Easton Turnpike, Bldg C., Waymart, PA 18472. The contract type is a firm-fixed price based on the Urner Barry?s Northeast Regional Spot Market. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 18, 2007, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition , including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is October 26, 2007. Payment will be made using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required, per FAR 52.212-3, to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
