Description
Amendment 0001  Information from Site Visit As a result of the site visit conducted at The Dalles Dam to discuss Solicitation W9127N- 07-Q-0134, the following changes are made to the solicitation. " Block #10 on SF1449 is corrected to read as Set Aside 100% for Small Business in lieu of unrestricted. " Block #28 on SF1449 is corrected to read as 3 copies to be signed and returned in lieu of 0. " Factor 2, FAR Clause 52.212.2 is changed to read as Contractor shall provide a copy of their Oregon DPSST license as Executive Manager, and their State of Washington license as a Private Security Guard Company, guards must be authorized to be armed thr ough approved certification programs in both States of Oregon and Washington, and proof of authorization must be shown by Contractor upon demand. " Factor 3, FAR Clause 52.212-2, the first sentence is deleted. " The use of Body Armor is required in the event that Dod FPCON levels are at Charlie; and Homeland Security Advisory System level Orange. The following specification for the type of Body Armor is added: REQUIREMENT FOR BODY ARMOR For increased DOD Force Protection Conditions Charlie and Homeland Security Level High (Orange) contractor shall provide for security personnel, threat level IIIA body armor with a minimum areal density of .75 pounds. This is to ensure the guards are prot ected against the common weapons that could be utilized. Local and State Law Enforcement agencies are utilizing this level and it is our intention to mirror their standards.
