- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division intends to solicit on a limited competition basis for the maintenance of the MTU 12V396TE94 engines and their associated equipment (used on the MK V Special Operations Craft) that is beyond the capability of Navy personnel to diagnose and repair. Services will include actions up to and including complete engine overhaul, and the preservation/re-preservation of engines that will be placed in storage. Service will be provided both at Special Boat Team Twenty, Norfolk, VA and at the contractor's facility. The contractor's must be MTU certified level W6 on the 12V396 and E4 on the ECS-UNI in order to compete. A five-year term commercial item type contract is anticipated.
