Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source E-2C, T56-A-427 Quick Engine Change Assy. (QECA) performance based logistics (PBL) contract to Rolls Royce Defense Services, Indianapolis, IN for intermediate and depot level maintenance. The quantity of engines requiring support is expected to be approximately 174 on the contract start date of 01 July 2006. The period of performance is anticipated to include up to ten (10) years. This program includes supply support along with Intermediate and Depot level engine maintenance required for the operation of the T56-A-427 Quick Engine Change Assy. (QECA) utilized on the E-2C aircraft. This contract will be structured to pay by the flight hour based on engine-on-wing usage to include all logistics and maintenace costs. Numbered note 22 applies . NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-OCT-2006).
