- Item 0001. Underwater Video camera, color, depth rated to 4000 meters, with BH-4-MP connector and configured per attached statement of work; ROS Model ROVer, p/n: 54-00300-A01. (QA 3) (SOC MCD "C" MATERIAL) Item 0002. Camera power supply unit for item 0001; ORS p/n: 43-03265-01. (QA 4) Item 0003. Connector, mating whips for ROVer camera with impulse IL-4-FS/DLSA connector wired to 45 ft of cable per figure 1 of attached statement of work; ROS p/n: To be dtermined (QA 4) Item 0004. Dummy plug for BH-4-MP camera connector; ROS p/n: 60-11023-4 (QA 4) Item 0005. Dummy plug for IL-4-FS camera mating whip connector; ROS p/n: 60-11024-4 (QA 4) Item 0006. Locking sleeve, (DLSA-M), for item 0004; ROS p/n: 60-08080-4 (QA 4) Item 0007. Locking sleeve, (DLSA-F), for item 0005; ROS p/n: 60-08090-4 (QA 4) Item 0008. the camera shall be tested per the vendor's factory acceptance test number: 54-00329 and a satisfactory completed copy shall accompany the camera. The vendor shall conduct implodable volume pressure testing, 10 cycles each, for the camera (item 0001) to satisfy P-9290 for deep submergence systems. The camera shall be tested to 700 PSI for 10 cycles. Cycles 1 thru 9 shall be held for ten minutes and cycle 10 shall be held for 1 hour. The test shall be conducted in 35 degrees F seawater, if practical, leakage or visible signs of damage shall be cause for test failure. Note: All volumes which are certified in this manner will require recertification by implosion testing if repairs or modifications are made which alter the "as tested" configuration of the volume. The following are examples (not a complete list) of work conditions that if performed or noticed on a certified (successfully tested) implodable volumes will require a retest: welding, grinding, machining, any work that removes material, excessive corrosion, or replacement of a pressure boundary part (except O-rings, gaskets, etc.) This solicitation is sole sourced to TLAVMS systems only.
