- The USDA, Forest Service, Southern Region is soliciting quotes for Call-When-Needed (CWN) Light Fixed Wing Airplane Services with companies whose home bases are located in the following states/territory: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Puerto Rico. The resultant contracts will consist of one base year and two option years. These services include flying for administrative purposes, transport of personnel and cargo, wildfire detection, fire reconnaissance, and air tactical missions. The solicitation will be open to small businesses only. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Agency. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about October 19, 2007.
