- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a competitive requirement for Instructional Services in Basic Electronics for International participants. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a fixed-price type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Time, October 25, 2007. Please submit via email to Brenda.Elliott@faa.gov. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile at 405-954-3030, or via e-mail to: Brenda.Elliott@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
