- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-Q-00001 is being issued as a request for quote. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command is requesting quotes for a Spectrum Analyzer. Specifically, we ar e looking for an Agilent Spectrum Analyzer. The elements of this analyzer will be ordered as subclins as follows: CLIN 0001AA will be for one Agilent E4448A PSA Spectrum Analyzer 3 Hz 50 GHz. CLIN 0001AB will be for one Agilent E4448A-1DS RF internal p reamplifier. CLIN 0001AC will be for one Agilent E4448A-226 Phase noise measurement personality. CLIN 0001AD will be for one Agilent 8490D Coaxial fixed attenuator DC-50 GHz. CLIN 0001AE will be for one Agilent 8490D-003 3 db attenuator. CLIN 0001AF wi ll be for one Agilent 8490D-010 10 db attenuator. CLIN 0001AG will be for one Agilent 8490D-020 20 db attenuator. CLIN 0001AH will be for one Agilent 11904S 2.4 mm to K adapter set, complete. CLIN 0001AI will be for one Agilent R281A Coaxial to waveguid e adapter, 2.4 mm female to WR-28, 26.5 to 40 GHz. CLIN 0001AJ will be for one Agilent R281AB Coaxial to waveguide adapter, 2.4 mm male to WR-28, 26.5 to 40 GHz. All items shall include a one year warranty and include shipping costs FOB Destination to Re dstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. In the event a quote submitted against a GSA schedule please include the GSA contract number, Cage code under which that contract was awarded as well as the start and end dates of that contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency, if received by 30 October 2007, noon (CST). Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FA R Part 12. The solicitation/ resulting contract include the following provisions/clauses: Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition, other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 noon, (CST), 30 October 2007, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B148, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. local time on 30 October 2007. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. E valuation will be lowest price, technically acceptable. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes will be accepted.
