Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region intends to award a sole-source contract to GE Fanuc Automation Corporation in an estimated amount of $43,924.00 for the renewal of an iGlobalCare complete service and maintenance support agreement for FIX32 software licenses in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1: "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210 and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 7030. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This notice is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document will be available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that GE Fanuc Automation Corporation is not the sole-source provider of the subject maintenance support agreement. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be awarded on October 19, 2007 without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
