Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a prospectus for proposals to provide general store grocery and general merchandise services at the El Portal Administrative Site of Yosemite National Park. The existing general store services Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2007. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is not a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for six (6) years beginning on its effective date. Any offer, including that from the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than sixty (60) days from October 19, 2007 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The prospectus will be issued on October 19, 2007 for a 60-day response period under the terms described in the prospectus, with proposals due on December 18, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service. You must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
