Description

The General Services Administration (GSA or Government) is seeking potential sources for up to 73,000 BOMA rentable square feet of testing, storage, office and related space which will yield a minimum of 39,000 to 44,000 usable square feet of testing and sample storage space and 15,000 to 16,000 usable square feet of office space in Suburban Maryland for use by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). The CPSC Testing and Sample Storage Facility is currently housed in eight (8) separate buildings plus eight (8) CPSC-Owned sea containers and a double-wide storage building on 9.5 acres located at a Federal Facility located at 10901 Darnestown Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Government will consider relocation if it will be economically advantageous versus upgrading and/or building at the current location. The cost of moving, alterations, impact on agency mission and other variables to be determined by the Government will be considered in the relocation decision. The space must be ready to begin phased occupancy between Winter 2008 and Spring 2009.
