Description

The U. S. Geological Survey intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Precision Measurement Engineering to purchase equipment for the HIF. The HIF is the primary source for specialized hydrologic instrumentation used by the Water Resources Division and the equipment is sold and rented to district and field sites all over the nation to support their field data collection activities. Precision Measurement Engineering, Inc. is the proprietary manufacturer of the equipment needed. This award will be made on or about October 30th under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
