- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to issue a full and open competitive solicitation for information technology products and services to satisfy its requirements for integrating manufacturing data management in support of both the Bureau?s facilities in Washington D.C. and Fort Worth, Texas. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for this effort with time and material options to provide support for future production related processes to include logistics, manufacturing control, and other business related functions. The government expects to issue a contract for a period of one year, with at least four one-year options. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE AND NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRED FROM INTERESTED CONTRACTORS AT THIS TIME. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), nor is an RFP available at this time. A solicitation is expected to be issued late within the next 120 days. The acquisition will be subject to Part 15 using negotiated procedures with a source selection decision based on overall best value to the BEP. A forty-five day solicitation response time is planned for receipt of proposals. Prospective offerors should note that offerors will be required to demonstrate their data management software as part of the proposal process. Interested offerors are encouraged to register for FedBizOpps electronic notification for issuance of the solicitation, amendments and/or changes to this pre-solicitation notice.
