- R-Sources Sought for GSA to provide CENTRAL SUPPORT SERVICES; File storage, retrieval and management (on site) of paper files, Centralized supply storage, management and distribution with options for training room set-up/configuration, clerical support, and mail room services. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE. The purpose of this Sources Sought (SS) is for information and planning purposes only. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. It is a market research tool being used to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the above referenced project. This SS will help to identify potential sources that may be interested in and capable of providing the services described herein. Therefore, all potential offerors, both LARGE and SMALL business are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will NOT pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Responses are due BY 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) FRIDAY September 7, 2007. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government will proceed with the acquisition, a formal synopsis and subsequent solicitation announcement will be published. The Governments intent is to solicit a Firm Fixed Price, Best Value Procurement. Project Description - SOURCES ARE SOUGHT FOR the follow-on to an existing contract currently being performed successfully On-Site at the United States General Services Administration (GSA), Regional Office Building for centralized customer support solutions. The office is located in downtown Philadelphia at the address listed above. The Contractor shall be required to provide all management, supervision, labor and equipment to plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of the following types of tasks: File Storage; File Management of approximately 14,400 files in two locations; Archiving to NARA and Disposal annually; Reference Material Storage (hard copies, training manuals/books) and Management (new portion to contract-no history available); Receiving (mail, packages); Central Supply Distribution (maintain inventory/dispense office supplies, excludes purchasing); Specialized item distribution (Awards); Copy/Reproduction/Laminating Services; Bar-coding (Paper Files, Reference Materials); Receptionist duties. The normal operating hours for these on-site services are Monday through Friday (excluding the Federal Holidays), from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. xxxxx The following services will be Options to this contract and will be priced accordingly. The services listed as OPTIONS are not currently being performed and MAY NOT be exercised during the life of the contract. If the need does arise for these services, proper notification will be provided to initiate/exercise the Option. OPTIONs to the Contract include: Training Room support and set up (Option); Mail Room Services (Option); Administrative Support Services (Option). xxxx The estimated cost of this project for all five years is between $1,500,000.00 and 2,500,000.00. Your Statement of Capability shall include any relevant commercial or Government experience providing all or part of these requirements. Responses to this source sought shall provide information that indicates the contractor has the experience to perform the work described above. Firms responding to this sources sought announcement, who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought announcement.
