- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate an UNRESTRICTED, SOLE SOURCE contract with Beckman Coulter utilizing FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). Solicitation N00604-08-T-0019. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 334516 and the small business size standard is 500. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions an d clauses are those through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and 2005-20, effective 17 Sep and 6 Sep 2007, respectively and DEFENSE FAR SUPPLEMENT (DFARS) Change Notice 20070913, dated September 13, 2007. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for the following: ITEM CLIN 0001: 12 months ? Lease of LH 750 Hematology Analyzer located at BMC Makalapa Clinic. Maintenance to include all supplies associated with instrument service, repair and 80 CBC?s a day. Laboratory Analyzer routinely used for Clinical Analysis including: Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology Urinalysis, and Immuno Chemistry Assays. Contractor will perform ongoing preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance necessary to fulfill the cust omer?s test requirements. Emergency maintenance will be provided withi n 24 hours of notification of malfunction. Provide all tools, support, repair parts and labor needed for emergency or preventive maintenance and incurs all associated travel costs. Provide instrument repair and full service support 8 hours a day (8 am ? 5 pm) seven days a week. All chemical reagents included on a ?Cost-Per-Test? basis with drop shipping included. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE A QUOTATION MATCHING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT FOR A BASE AND THREE (3) OPTION YEARS: As a result, the government includes FAR clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. Contractor to quote delivery F.O.B. Destination. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to be eligible for Department of Defense Contract awards. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. Central Contractor Registration. The Government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation.
