It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) is planning to acquire Building Automation System Support for Center Operations (BASSCO) at Marshall Space Flight Center. The existing effort is currently being performed under NASA MSFC Contract NNM06AA72C by the incumbent contractor, Mainthia Technologies of Cleveland, Ohio. The current period of performance for this contract expires March 31, 2008. NASA/MSFC is seeking capabilities from 8(a) businesses only to satisfy the government?s requirements under a follow-on procurement. Mainthia Technologies has graduated from the 8(a) program and the government desires to reserve this procurement for 8(a) businesses only. The preliminary requirements for the proposed procurement are outlined in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). Interested 8(a) firms having the required specialized capabilities to meet the requirements in the attached draft SOW shall submit a capability statement of 10 pages or less demonstrating their capability to perform any aspects of the effort described herein. Responses must include the following: 1) name and address of firm including the names of two points of contact including their titles, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address; 2) current business size, annual revenue for the past 3 years for the NAICS Code shown above and the current number of employees; 3) ownership; including whether your firm is an 8(a) tribal business and the date your firm will graduate from the 8(a) program; 4) affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners; 5) number of years in business; 6) list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and 7) Customer points of contact including their name, title, address, e-mail address, fax number, and telephone number. The 10 page limitation applies to the capability statement only, not to the other requested information. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Receipt of your capabilities is requested on or before the current response date shown above. Submission via mail, facsimile, or e-mail is acceptable. Include the solicitation reference number shown above on all submittals. The mailing address for submission is: NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Attn: Marty B. Hanson, Mail Code PS32, Building 4250 Room 39, MSFC, AL 35812. Note - Even though the Set-Aside Code shown above indicates the procurement will be 8(a) competitive, no determination has been made by the government as to whether or not any future solicitation for proposal(s) will be competitive or non-competitive.
