- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Augusta, GA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Viasys Respiratory Care; for a five-year contract for the maintenance of the Viasys Portable Ventilators at the CAVHCS, Medical Center, Montgomery, Alabama. The NACIS code is 811219 and size standard is $6.5 million. The contract period will be from November 5, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with four option years. This Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing these services, to the Contracting Officer via email or fax at 478-274-5616. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
