Description

Project consists of railway crossing improvements. The work includes demolition of existing asphalt surfacing, culvert replacement, raising road approach grades, gravel surfacing, removal and installation of existing gate and signage, and topsoil and seeding. The project is located at the USFWS Big Muddy National Wildlife Refuge, Columbia, Missouri. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted with regards to business size under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Railway Construction, with a size standard of $31.0 million. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The electronic solicitation will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 11/14/07 with quotes due close of business 12/14/07.
