Description

Design services for renovation of the old MH Offices in 2B at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. The required services shall include schematic design concepts (15%), design development drawings (60%), preparation of final construction documents including cost estimate for the 100% level, selected construction period service, post construction services, and other typical tasks related to these services for Project 534-08-103. The proposed construction is to renovate a portion of the 2nd floor vacated due to the MH Consolidation into new offices, admin spaces, workrooms, etc. The primary intent is to convert old clinical space into spaces for Medical Media and other areas as required. Design will involve upgrading HVAC, telecom/data, electrical power (both normal and emergency), lighting, etc. Programming will be required to determine appropriate space usage/layout. Approximately 2,000 SF of space will be renovated. The estimated construction is between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. Consideration is limited to concerns located with a 150 mile radius of VAMC, Charleston, SC. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541310. This notice is issued subject to the availability of funds and is not a request for proposal.
