- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform water intrusion repairs at U.S. Coast Guard Shinnecock Station, Hampton Bays, New York. The solicitation consists of a Base Bid plus Three Optional Items. The Base Bid consists of roof replacement, dormer repairs, metalwork repairs, sealant replacement and finish repairs at the main Station Building. Options include repair and painting of the cupola, masonry repairs and flashing replacement at window lintels in the Main Station Building and masonry repairs and sealant replacement in the Boathouse. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $31 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. This project is estimated between $500,000 and $1 Million. The applicable NAICS code is 236220. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The tentative bid opening date is 17 December 2007. Bid packages will be available on or about 15 November 2007 at a non-refundable charge of $45.
