Description
THIS SYNOPSIS IS AN ADVANCE NOTICE FOR INFORMATION, MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of 8(a) small business companies; however we will accept responses from any interested small businesses that are able to perform the necessary Civil Engineering Operations Maintenance Service (CEOMS) for the operations facilities at Schriever AFB. The contractor shall be required to perform a wide range of functions which provide complete operating support to various installation customers while focusing on quality practices. Services include facilities management duties, operation, maintenance, repair, test, and inspection of all installed Real Property and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) to include: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical distribution systems, lightning protection, facility water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and solid state uninterrupted power systems (SSUPS). Accomplishment of minor construction/renovation projects at the discretion of the Contracting Officer and the Base Civil Engineer. Additionally, the contractor shall be responsible for: Fire suppression and standpipe systems for all facilities on SAFB and vehicle gate entrapment areas. Most services are required 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week (24/7) with some exceptions which will have a maximum two-hour response time during unmanned periods. The contractor shall operate, maintain, repair, test and inspect the fire sprinkler systems, the Electromagnetic Pulse/ Radio Frequency Interference/Electromagnetic Interference (EMP/RFI/EMI) Systems, backflow preventers, Utilidor and utility systems from the central utilities plant exit to the entrance of all connected buildings.
