- This modification is to update how to access the technical data package for this item. Any firm interested in submitting informat ion in response to this notice should do the following: STEP 1 - WEB ACCESS: First, go to the Market Research section of the Rock Island Solicitation Information Page, at https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/MAR KET_SURVEYS/market.htm. STEP 2 - REQUEST THE TDP: The Technical Data Package (TDP) for the Special Purpose Cable Assembly is available for downloading utilizing FedTeDS. To obtain the TDP click the following link: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/ frm.VendorLogin?OpenForm&SolicitationNumber=5995015426511. If you do not have access to FedTeDS please click the following link to get registered. https://www.fedteds.gov/ STEP 3 - REVIEW THE TDP PACKAGE: As this is a complicated item, and many technical requirements are cited within, or referenced within the TDP, IT IS MANDATORY that any interested party make a thorough review of the TDP. STEP 4 - COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE MA RKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE: If after a thorough review and understanding of all t he requirements of the TDP you are still interested in supplying this item to the US Army, then go back to the Rock Island Solicitation In formation Page (Step 1 above), and access the link to the Market Research Questionnaire. Please provide answers to al l questions, including your best price and delivery schedule, and return it as instructed at the top of the Questionnaire. STEP 5 - Government Review and Determination: The C ontracting Officer will review the responses received to the Market Research Ques tionnaire by the deadline date, and make a determination if FPI can supply this item at comparable terms to private industr y, considering price, delivery, and quality. If it is determined that FPI can supply the item under comparable terms, than the res ultant procurement action will be set aside for FPI. If it is determined that FPI cannot supply the item under comparable te rms to private industry, then the procurement acti on will be pursued under competitive procedures.
