Description

Kooskia National Fish Hatchery, Kooskia, Idaho - project BioFilter Cover A. Summary of Work: 1. Demolish the existing metal frame, covers and roofing over the aeration chamber; remove and dispose the three aerators and motors inside the aeration chamber of the biofilter; remove and dispose the existing covers over the filtration bays; remove and dispose the existing railings and fencing around the perimeter of the filter. Dispose of all debris off FWS property. 2. Provide and install a new structural steel frame, bracing and metal roofing over the entire biofilter including the aeration chamber. 3. Provide and install 8-foot, chain-link fence and gates around perimeter of biofilter. 4. Provide new light fixtures, light circuit and switch for within the covered area. Extend new circuit from existing distribution panel; install new 20 amp, single pole, circuit breaker, IMC conduit, conductors, cast boxes, switch with WP cover, and vapor tight, fluorescent fixtures. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Estimated Start work : February 14, 2008 Performance Period: 90 Calendar Days Davis Bacon applies Bonding and evidence of liability insurance required HubZone preference Project will be advertised at www.fbo.gov Estimate price range between $100,000 and $250,000
