Description

This notice supercedes IFB DTMA2B07011 for the same work; DTMA2R07008 is a Request for Proposal, Small Business Set Aside. Contractor shall provide the following pierside repairs onboard the training ship: Annual repairs, servicing and maintenance to firefighting, lifesaving systems such as rafts, davits, boats;portable and installed fire detection and extinguishment systems. Repairs and maintenance to vaious domestic and auxiliary ship's systems, equipment and machinery including pressure vessels, relief valves, piping, stores handling, sanitation, distilling plant, food service, indicators, exterior communications and structural components. Site survey is 10am 5 October onboard T/S Enterprise. Wage Determination 2005-2259, Rev 5 dated 5 July 2007 is effective for Barnstable County, Mass. Attention: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), the DOT short term lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing and the form of lines of credit to finance acccounts receivable for transportation related contracts. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 at the prime interest rate, as published in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75%. For further information call (800) 532-1169.
