Description: The US Army War College, Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) is soliciting proposals from scholars to research and write monographs on the following topics: Global War on terrorism; Homeland Security/Homeland Defense/Civil Support; Regional Security Is sues-North Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Southwest Asia, Central Asia, Western Hemisphere, Military Change/Transformation; US National Security/Strategy/National Military Strategy; Landpower Employment; Landpower Generation and Sustainment; Leadership, Personnel Management and Culture; and War and Society. Multiple awards are anticipated based on a best value basis. Offerors must have current registration as a small business in CCR (Central Contractor Registration) in order to be eligible for contract award. The solicitation will contain the actual date of receipt of proposals. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or around 30 November, 2007.
