Description

Note: This modification is to clarify the closing date of 11/05/04 for this Announcement. The U.S. Geological Survey, WRD in Middleton, WI seeks to make a non-competitive award to Omni Resources, Inc (No.08ER14-NoSolicitation). The work is a logical follow-on to an on-going task involving both the development and deployment of a database and accompanying web service for USGS Water Quality data. Additionally, this contractor will also develop and implement an XML Schema for the National Water Information System. Omni Resources is the incumbent contractor already well-versed in USGS IT infrastructure and protocols. Several key deliverables are due before the end of the 2007 and product integrity and continuity are essential to these efforts. The follow-on nature of this work is to last no more than ten (10) months at a total cost well within the simplified acquisition threshold. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The anticipated award date is 11/06/2007, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold for commercial items. NAICS is 541511.
