Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive Purchase Order to Richard G. Warren of Grand Junction, CO to compile data on thin sections petrographis analysis for the USGS Rock Sample Database. All data gathered will be donated to the USGS Core Library and Data Center at Mercury, NV. Richard G. Warren is the only known responsible source to provide these services. See FAR 13.106-1 (b). His publication record demonstrates expertise in petrographic analysis and his online database and sample collection demonstrate a unique ability for petrographic information and samples produced for weapons testing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, but interested parties may indentify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Specialist by email (sevans@usgs.gov) no later than the response date date shown on the announcement.
