- Description
- General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to establish a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract for Grounds Maintenance Services at six individual Border Stations located within Washington State. Three sites are located in Blaine, Wa. The remaining three sites are located at Lynden, WA., Point Roberts, WA (only accessible by entering through Canada) and Sumas, WA respectively. Total turf area is 329,057 sq ft. Total planted area is 105,957 sq ft. The period of performance is for twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year option periods. Anticipated start date is April 1, 2008. This acquisition will be issued IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19.13, this acquisition is being considered for a HubZone set aside. If your firm is Hub Zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than November 9, 2007: 1) SBA certification Hub Zone eligibility; 2) Statement to substantiate capability to perform landscape and grounds maintenance services; and 3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HubZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HubZone set-aside, the acquisition will be conducted under 100% small business set-aside. Offers will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures with the evaluation factors set forth in the solicitation. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 561730 with a small business size of $12M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. Successful offeror will be required to be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Offerors not already registered in CCR database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Solicitation will be available on or about November 15, 2007. Offers will be due on or about December 13, 2007. In accordance with FAR 5.102Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
