Description
Description of Work: The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District has a requirement to procure multiple Park Attendant/Caretaker services at Modoc Campground, Petersburg Campground, Raysville Campground, Ridge Road Campground, Winfield Campgrou nd, Big Hart Campground, Broad River Campground, Clay Hill Campground, Hawe Creek Campground, Hesters Ferry Campground, and Mt. Carmel Campground at J. Strom Thurmond Park. This contract will require at least two adults (21 years or older) to remain in t he campground at all times while on duty. The contractor shall furnish a factory-built, self-contained recreational vehicle (RV) of the travel trailer or motor home type to serve as temporary living quarters for the duration of the contract. The attend ant shall maintain their RV site and gatehouse in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. Park attendants will be required to handle user fees. Attendants will be required to prepare and submit all monies and appropriate documentation/paperwork to t he Thurmond Lake Office. Attendants must be fully bonded (Fidelity Bond) or insured to cover funds not received by the designated government agent as provided for in the specifications. Attendant is required to furnish to the government representative pr oof of such a bond. Further details and specifications will be available when the solicitation is issued. This will be a 100% set-aside for Small Business and is solicited under NAICS 721211. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $6.0M. Th ere will be a base year and one option year included in the solicitation. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about November 20, 2007. It is the Offer ors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via the FedTeds homepage. The FedTe ds provides a secure on-line request and is a dissemination management system. FedTeds serves the Federal acquisition community, including Federal Engineers, Federal Buyers, and the Federal Vendor Community in managing the work flow by driving the request s for and the dissemination of sensitive Federal technical data associated with a solicitation. It is integrated with FedBizOps (FBO) and Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The FedTeds System ensures that all vendors accessing Sensitive but Unclassif ied (SBU) documents have the appropriate authority to view this data. Solicitation documents will be posted on the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeds) Homepage, https://www.fedteds.gov/. FedTeds is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information. When solicitation documents have b een issued and posted to FedTeds, the synopsis or pre-solicitation notice will be amended and a link will be provided to access FedTeds. The process to download from FedTeds is: 1. Find the solicitation announcement in FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov); 2. Once you open the bid announcement on FedBizOps, there will be a link to the solicitation on FedTeds in the remarks section. Click on the link; 3.
