Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number W81K02-08-R-0005 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS code for this procurement is 325413 and the SIC code is 2835. The small business standard is 500. The Department of Pathology, Microbiology Section, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for various quantities of Biomerieux Vitek Test Cards to be used for bacterial and yeast identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing. The supplies shall be compatible for use on Govt-owned Vitek I and Vitek 2 Analyzer System. Selected vendor must be able to provide full c ontract support immediately upon award of a resulting order. This requirement will be solicited on an all or none basis to one contractor. The Govt anticipates award of a FFP contract with 3 options years. The Pacific Regional Contracting Office at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI intends to award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. The solicitation is available on the ASFI Website, https://acquisition.army.mil. Proposals are due by Thursday November 8, 2007 no later than 3:00 pm Eastern Stan dard Time / 9:00 am.
