Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Topaz Technologies, Inc., 9601 Amberlgen Boulevard, Suite 140, Austin, TX 78729, for yearly software license renewals for its GRANITE system, which is a suite of software applications designed to manage large amounts of data produced in animal research facilities, with modules including online management of IACUC, Animal Research Proposal administration, on-line animal ordering, facility accounting and billing, cost accounting, and staff training records. License renewal includes telephone support, upgrades, and assistance. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
