- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance Services at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The work is described as follows: maintain improved grounds; semi-improved grounds to include airfield; and un-improved grounds; leaf removal; maintenance of landscape beds; trimming and pruning of trees and shrubs; maintenance of irrigation system; vegetation control; debris, trash and litter policing; herbicide application; and snow removal. Period of performance will be a nine month basic period and four one year options. Anticipated start date is 1 January 2008. This requirement is 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 567130 with a small business size standard of $6.5M. The Request for Proposal will be issued using Past Performance/Price Trade-Off (PPT) IAW FAR 15.101-1 resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The solicitation will be issued electronically on a date yet to be determined (on or about 14 November 2007) on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://fbo.gov; paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://ccr.gov and follow the instructions. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be scheduled at a future date in the 55th Contracting Office Conference Room.
