Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This is a Sources Sought/Market Research announcement and is for information purposes only. The US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is requesting information and the availability for the following items: Ctg 5.56mm Simunition Redmark, Ctg 5.56mm Simunition Bluemark, Grenades Flash Bang, Tactical Mini-Bang Grenades, 60ft, Dual 0.118 Olive Drab Shock Tube, w/ Instant Detonators and Heat Seals, Shock Tube Initiator and Nonel, 2m 3.8 Sec (X586). Materiel may be produced under NATO spec, Warsaw Pact spec and/or commercial equivalent. Active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database is mandatory. Commercial vendors capable of providing this ammunition are encouraged to resp ond. Interested companies should respond by providing the government the following information: company name, corporate background with business size and type, points of contact, and a brief statement of capabilities. This is a market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or as an obligation on the part of the government. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market s urvey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Funds are not presently available for an acquisition. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. The government will utilize the information provided only to develop the acquisition strategy for po ssible future FMS requirements for the Philippines. All submissions are requested to be made electronically via electronic mail or fax no later than 5:00 (CST) 16 November 2007 to Gerry Haan (AMSAS-ACA-R), email gerry.haan@us.army.mil or via Fax number (309) 782-7131. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT BASED ON THESE SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED.
