- The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the acquisition of the following noted line item. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code and the small busin ess size standard for this procurement is 423830 and 100 employees respectively. The FSC Code is 8115. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation or other information. The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, CA inte nds to award a single, firm fixed price contract for: ITEM 0001 94 EA Pallet, Plastic, 48 in x 70 in. Plasticized pallet shall be easy to clean, water resistant, chemical resistant, UV stabilized, withstand temperature ranges from -20 degrees to +140 degrees Fahrenheit and have successfully completed ASTM testing. Pallets shall be able to handle 3,000 lb loads and prove unbreakable during fork-tined impact. Pallets shall be fastened by 1/2 in x 3.5 in zinc plated lagbolt fasteners to eliminate shear and pullout. Fasteners shall be countersunk to ensure a smooth skid deck. The 70 in side shall incorporate the forklift tine openings. New/not refurbished. ITEM 0002 185 EA Pallet, Wood, 40 in x 48 in. Material Handling, slatted, new/not refurbished.
