- DESC: The U.S. Army, Kansas City Engineer District, (COE) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for construction services in FY-08, for a new road bridge to replace the Turkey Creek Road bridge, crossing Turkey Creek, in Kansas City, KS. The road bridge will be 100-foot, single span, steel girder bridge with reinforced concrete deck, 30-6 pit-to-out of slab with at 28-foot clear roadway width and New Jersey barrier rails at the edges for the slab. The location is on South Henning Street, ap proximately 1000 feet West of the intersection of Southwest Blvd and Mission Road, Kansas City, KS. The work and services are procured in accordance with FAR Part 16 for a fixed-price contract to complete the new road bridge with an expected cost range be tween $500,000.00 and $1,500,000.00. This solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 21 November 2007. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310, for Street and Bridge Construction with the Stand ard Industrial Code (SIC) code 1622, for Bridge, Tunnel and Elevated Highway Construction . The Small Business size standard is $31Million. This solicitation is unrestricted. Bids will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties.
