- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive (sole source) basis with Brackett Aircraft Company for a Repair of Repairables (ROR) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the H-1 Program. The requirement is to repair, test and restore to a Ready For Issue (RFI) condition, the Rear Ground Handling Wheels and Forward Ground Handling Wheels used on the AH-1Z and UH-1Y aircraft. Brackett owns the data required to fulfill the requirement for the Forward Ground Handling Wheels and have been previously awarded a competitive contract for the Rear Ground Handling Wheels and can perform the repairs and provide interim support until the establishment of organic depot repair. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition.
