- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation is the only announcement that will be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-08-R-0009. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-19 and DFARS Change Notice 20070913. The NAICS code is 335129 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted non-competitive procurement action. The proposed contract action is for commercial items/services for which the Government anticipates negotiating and awarding to a single source pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 6.302- 1(a) (2) ii & FAR Parts 12 & 13. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center San Diego anticipates issuing an award to Ingersoll-Rand, Mocksville, NC on a sole source basis for the follow-on for Light Tower, Mfr. P/N: 36068963, Quantity of 9 each. The closing date is November 06, 2007, 2:00 p.m.. A hard copy of the solicitation N00244-08-R-0009 provides the complete description, terms and conditions. This is notice of intent, however, the Government will consider all statements of interest and capability. Responsible contractors interested and capable of meeting the requirements of this solicitation are encouraged to identify their interest and capability and submit a proposal providing evidence of compliance in meeting the requirements of the solicitation.
