Description

The United States Coast Guard intends to purchase engine blocks, Exhaust Manifolds PFA (F.E. and D.E.) and F/Cambox (A & B banks) for the Paxman VALENTA diesel engine Mode No 16RP200M. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Man B&W and Viking, Inc under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested sources shall provide complete documentation showing that the parts they are capable of providing conform to the specifications for PAXMAN VALENTA Model 16RP200M Diesel Engines. The contractor shall provide certification of Genuine OEM parts or conformance for each part delivered to the Coast Guard. Delivery should be FOB Destination. The delivery address is: USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. Responses to this notice and questions and/or comments shall be submitted to Kathy Brown at Kathryn.E.Brown@uscg.mil no later than 5pm EST on 24 January 2007. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. The Request for Proposal will be posted on or before 30 March 2007.
