Item 0001 NSN 2995-01-467-1617NZ, P/N: 4084918 Applicable to F-100 Engine. Description: Valve Assembly, Anti Ps2 Transducer; Function is to prevent ice from forming on the engine inlet case assembly. Dimensions: 7 inches long X 5 inches diameter; Material: Aluminum Alloy. Delivery: 9 ea by 31 Jul 07. Destination: FMS. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 May 07. The anticipated award date will be 25 Jun Apr 07. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending SARS. Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARS as son as possible if the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
