Description

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is West American Rubber Company, Orange, CA, for various size second skins and nosecup assemblies. There is no technical data available for this item. The proposed action will result in a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract. First Article Test will not be required. FOB is Destination. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity will be for 2,250 each of N SN: 4240-01-441-0567. The maximum quantity over the life of the contract will be 19,453 Second Skins and 23,783 Nosecup Assemblies. Estimated solicitation issue date is 21 November 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
