- DESC: The items to procure are the Adapter Rail, Body (NSN 1005-01-489-5357, Part Number 12997573) and Adapter Rail, Rail (NSN 1005-01-486-3661, Part Number 12997574) for the M240 Machine Gun. The Adapter Rail, Body is machined from an Aluminum Allo y 7075-T73, Anodic Coating and Laser Etch required. The Adapter Rail, Body is approximate 6.134 IN X 2.26 IN X 1.697 IN. The Adapter Rail, Rail is machined from Aluminum Alloy 7075-T73, Anodic Coating and Laser Etch required. The Adapter Rail, Rail is a pproximate 4.98 IN X .835 IN X .415 IN. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Guaranteed minimum requirements for the Adapter Rail, Body are 4,500 each. There is no guaranteed minimum requirements for the Adapter Rail, Rail. FOB is Destin ation. Estimated issue date is 26 November 2007. The response date listed is an estimate only. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY07 requirement. This solicitation will incorporate a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will not be posted with the solicitation once the solicitation is issued to the web. Offerors are hereby notified that in order to receive the Technical Data Package, all offerors are required to execute a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement binding each offeror to the terms an d conditions of the agreement. Before receiving the technical data for this solicitation, a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be completed and returned to Dave Buennig by e-mail to david.buennig@us.army.mil or by fax to (309) 782-2362. The Non-Di sclosure and Non-Use Agreement can be downloaded from the following link: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.VendorLogin?OpenForm&SolicitationNumber=NON-DISCLOSURE-STATEMENTS Upon receipt of the signed agreement, the Technical Data Package will be made avaialble to the offeror. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Be cause of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
