Description

The government shall be issuing a request for proposals on or about November 27, 2007 for a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract for the SCADA System Upgrade/Replacement at the Harry S. Truman, Stockton, and Cannon Power Plants in Missouri. There are p re-existing AB PLC5's (excluding Re-Reg), field wiring, and termination points utilitized throughout the existing system at the three plants that will remain in place and be utilizied in the new system. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, installation, and configuration of software and hardware to provide a complete system that meets the Government's approval. Such work shall entail but not be limited to new SCADA software; server/client hardware; the necessary networking equiment to upgra de the existing local area networks (LAN's), wide area networks (WAN's), and communication links between the PLCs and servers to Ethernet; and other requirements to be provided in the solicitation (i.e. - training and possible support agreement). The SCA DA systems shall be an isolated system having NO connections to the internet and other networks either Government, commercial, and/or private. The NAICS code is 541512 with a size standard of $23 Million. This shall be completed as FULL AND OPEN Competit ion. Proposals must be submitted by December 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM in accordance with the solicitation. Copies of the solicitation and any amendments shall be made available on FedTEDS website which is https://www.fedteds.gov. If not previously registered in the system, the website contains instructions.
