- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is RABQ4080001 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition 2005-18. This requirement is set aside for Buy Indian with a NAICS Code of 454311 and the business size maximum is $11.5 million. The description of the service is: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001; Unit Price per gallon of liquid propane gas; estimated quantity: 80,000 gallons. Upon request the contractor shall provide liquid propane gas to the following Bureau of Indian Education Facility buildings at Turtle Mountain located in Belcourt, North Dakota: 14, 90, 90A, 90B, 122, 156, 181 and new high school. The performance period for this requirement is from the date of award through September 30, 2008. Quoters are encouraged to ask any questions pertaining to this requirement. Evaluation factors include past performance and price, with both being equal. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their proposals along with a DUNS Number. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statures or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses within 52.212-5(b) are applicable to this acquisition: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33. Required Central Contractor Registration and Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) 1452.226-70 Indian Preference, DIAR 1452.226-71 Indian Preference Program, DIAR 1452.204-70 Release of Claims are applicable.
