- ***THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AMENDMENT IS TO INFORM ALL INTERESTED PARTIES THAT EVALUATION CRITERIA HAS BEEN REVISED SEE BELOW.****** The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Southeast Region, in accordance with the Brooks Act and Part 36.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is seeking qualified firms to provide Land Survey Services, primarily rural surveys, for the states of Mississippi. Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing geodetic control ties to all surveyed boundaries, deed research, traversing, marking true boundaries and corner monumentation, preparation of survey plats, legal descriptions and report of survey. Your company must be licensed in the respective states in order to be considered. Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts will be awarded for each state. The number and magnitude of projects to be undertaken are dependent upon priority and availability of funds at the time task orders are issued. EVALUATION CRITERIA Fish and Wildlife Service will consider companies experience for the past 10 years when evaluating their capabilities. The following factors will be evaluated. They are listed in descending order of importance. 1) Geographic location and familiarity with the area. 2) Professional qualifications and experience. 3) Rural boundary survey experience. 4) Past performance in terms of cost control, quality of work and relevant experience. 5) Field and office equipment (include instrument DIN, PPM rating; GPS receiver grade i.e.; L1, L2, L3, Glonass; type of computer software and version). 6) Capacity to accomplish the work within the required performance period. Firms responding to this notice shall submit a Standard Form 330 along with any information they deem to be of benefit to their company. Additional information shall be limited to four standard pages. Information in excess of this will not be considered. Firms shall submit three copies of the SF 330 directly to: Contracting and General Services Division, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 1875 Century Blvd. Suite 310, Atlanta, GA 30345, Attention Nijua Heard. The due date for receipt of submittals is December 07, 2007, 4:00 p.m., EST. Late submissions will not be considered. This is not an RFP. The term of the resultant contracts will be one year from date of award, with 4 one-year option periods. All prospective firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award. Prior to registering, you need a valid Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and e-mail address. You may obtain a DUNS number free of charge by calling 866.705.5711. The CCR website is www.ccr.gov. This requirement is unrestricted, solicited for full and open competition. The NAICS code is 541370 and the size is $4.5 million.
